Stone Reflexology is the use of heated or cooled stones over reflex points (acupressure or energy points) on the feet and hands, or other areas of the body. The warm stones have calming and relaxing properties and are therapeutic on the body. Stone Reflexology is great for cold hands and feet too, as Reflexology in general increases circulation. Hot or cold stones may be used, depending on the need of the client. Hot Stone Reflexology uses heated rocks to stimulate Reflex points found in the hands, feet, and even on the ears. Reflexology with the addition of the warm stones quickly becomes a method of decreasing tension in the body through the reflexes in the hands and the feet, draining away the stresses and anxieties. Using a warm stone, the Reflexologist holds the stone in the palm, and will either use a couple of stones at the end of a traditional Reflexology session, or they may offer cool marble rocks to be used alongside the heated river rocks to create a hot and cold contrast in a full session, depending on the client. Cold stones decrease inflammation and swelling, so they are often used for sports injuries and other such pains. They also offer a different sensation for the client. Come and enjoy a session today!
Body Reflexology alone or coupled with stones is also highly effective and can be done on various parts of the body. Cold stones work well with Body Reflexology for such things as sports injuries, inflammation and swelling, and general aches and pains. Reflexology itself relaxes and soothes. With the addition of the warm or cold stones, this therapy is highly effective in draining away stress, aches, and anxiety. Per client wants and needs, the therapist can also utilize essential oils with the session, creating a relaxing experience.

With the use of hot stones, however, it turns the session into a wholly enjoyable experience. Using the hot stones, the therapist or reflexologist places the stones strategically on the face. The clients ears are reflexed and pulled gently, as well as specific places on the neck. The stones are used on and around the face, allowing stress to leave freely. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress. If it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "Spiritually guided life force energy."

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended by proponents to encourage the natural circulation of the lymph through the body. The lymph system depends on intrinsic contractions of the smooth muscle cells in the walls of lymph vessels (peristalsis) and the movement of skeletal muscles to propel lymph through the vessels to lymph nodes and then beyond the lymph nodes to the lymph ducts which return lymph to the cardiovascular system. Manual lymph drainage uses a specific amount of pressure (less than 9 ounces per square inch) and rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow.
